Cystar is a PCOS support platform built on one simple belief: women living with PCOS deserve more than just symptom management — they deserve to thrive.
Founded by Alphin — a product designer and fellow cyster — Cystar was born from lived experience. A cyster is someone living with PCOS — a term of solidarity within the community that reflects shared understanding, resilience, and support.
But Cystar represents something more.
It represents the journey from being a cyster — navigating confusion, frustration, and overwhelm — to becoming a Cystar: someone who feels informed, empowered, and in control of her health.
After experiencing firsthand how overwhelming and rigid many PCOS programs felt, it became clear that while support existed, it wasn’t designed for real life. It often felt complicated, restrictive, or disconnected from everyday routines. Cystar was created to change that.
